ZenHow: Travel Tips in Taipei with ZenFone Max Plus

hi guys
I’m Thomas and welcome back to another episode of ZenHOW. In today’s episode, we’ll be taking my brand new ZenFone Max Plus on a one day trip across Taipei I
will give you some useful travel hacks it’s gonna be a long day today but
luckily I brought my ZenFone Max Plus As the name ZenFone Max Plus
suggests, the strength of this phone lies in this 4130mah battery which
gives 26 days on standby, 26 hours of 3G talktime, 21 hours of internet browsing,
and 13 hours of video playback What’s really cool about this battery is
that it features a super charging mode that gives you three hours of talktime
and only 15 minutes of charging This battery is also way smarter it features intelligent power management technologies that work together that
optimize the battery life ensure safety, enhance long-term performance, provide
reversed charging capabilities I’ve already turned on the double battery
lifespan feature now I can fully charge and discharge the battery up to 500
times in the 25 degree environment which will reduce the loss of battery capacity
by 50% Another major feature of this phone is its amazing screen the display
has been increased from 5.2 inch to an Incredible 5.7 inch 18 by 9 screen
without changing the overall size of the ZenFone Max Plus has a great
triple slot feature which can accommodate two SIM cards as well as a
memory card which is fantastic for when you are traveling or if you want to have
separate numbers for work and play Alright so our journey starts at
Junction station Xiangshan means elephant mountain and it’s one of
Taipei’s beautiful mountain areas first let me take the Taipei Metro App to see
through some cool things that we can do you can use the type a metro app to get
station exit info a route map and train schedule okay so we just got off at Taipei 101
station which as the name suggests is home to Taiwan’s most iconic building
and the formerly tallest skyscraper in the world Taipei 101 it is so tall that we would have a hard time taking a picture of the whole thing but fortunately ZenFone Max Plus with the duo lens 16 megapixel camera and then 120 degree-view wide-angle lens So this sort of situations it’s a piece of cake We have arrived at Daan park station
– it’s a huge park in the city center It has his own ponds
amphitheater gets playgrounds and more it’s kind of like Central Park in New
York City so what can we do here – I’ll show you I think this would be a great
place to take a selfie panorama shot I can’t really imagine to be able to fit
everything in to my selfie, and for that the ZenFone Max Plus comes with quite a
genius feature called a selfie panorama Here at Dongmen station, at Exit 5 there’s a street called Yongkang Jie, which has all the food that you can imagine in Taipei, It has the famous xiaolong bao restaurant Din Tai Fung, As well as Taiwanese shaved ice. If you’re looking for some cool restaurants shops or bars The Yelp app can give you some really insightful picks Since this is a pretty
busy street, let’s put the Yelp app to the test. Choose a restaurant to grab a snack at let me give you some advice about the
Yelp app. The next time you are looking for a bar or a restaurant you can open
the filters menu with the filters menu you can further specify your search for
instance you can look for restaurants that are open currently, or (those) that
provide takeaway in this way you will only find the restaurants that are
perfectly suitable for your needs We are now at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, which is one of the top tourist spots in Taiwan. Let us have a look at what the
City Travel app can tell us about this interesting place. The City
Travel app is an amazing app that will show you
anything of interest in the area and also prepares daily travel plans for you
I admit I don’t know that much about Taiwan’s history so I’m gonna check the
City App for more information it has a quick write-up about the monument
meaning that I could learn more about it since we were about halfway through our
journey this is the perfect time to check the battery level Now this is a very special stop, here in Beitou you’ll find the highest concentration of hot
springs in Taipei what a dream for hot spring lovers. You can come here by MRT
which is super convenient Here we are at Dan Shui station the area around the station is well-known for Dan Shui old street where you can go for a relaxing
evening stroll but try one be many traditional food snacks so now that we
have reached the end of our journey It’s time to see how much battery life we
have left. After a full day of taking pictures, taking videos, internet browsing,
and using travel (related) apps – we still have 61% left Which means that I can help my
friends charge their phones because the ZenFone Max Plus also functions as a
power bank. Alright guys that’s it for today -thank you so much for watching and if you want to, please like our video leave a comment and we’ll see you at the
next ZenHow, ciao!
