TOP 11 CLEVER TRAVEL HACKS YOU NEED TO KNOW | ANN LE

– Hi, guys! How’s it going, Anne here. Today’s video I’m going
to share with you guys my favorite travel tips and hacks when it comes to traveling. Since the holiday season’s coming up, I’m pretty sure a lot of you guys are going to be traveling, right? If you are, make sure to comment below and tell us where you are going, I’m always so curious. So, I’ve been traveling a lot this year. If you guys follow me on Instagram, I’ve been taking lots
of beautiful pictures of all the places I’ve gone to. But aside from that, I’ve been collecting lots and lots of great
tips and hacks for you guys so that way you guys can
use and apply this to whenever you’re traveling. I took down a whole bunch of notes so that way I can share with you guys, so let’s not waste any
more time and get started! All right, guys, so tip number one. This one is my life hack, I would say. I do this all the time, and that is using lemons for my armpits. I know that sounds crazy,
I did a video on this already before, but you could either use lemon or lime for this. So whenever I’m traveling out, whether outside the country
or inside the country, I would stop by my
local supermarket nearby my hotel or something like that, and I would buy myself a lemon. I would also pack a knife with me, so everyday I would slice a fresh slice and apply it onto my armpit. And then I would smell fresh and just feel refreshed all day long. It works better than deodorant for me, and it’s a natural alternative. All right, so tip number two, this is a money saver,
and at the same time, this is like bringing a
little part of home with you. So, what I like to do is
bring a reusable thermal cup. I buy the one from Starbucks, and I would reuse it every time I travel, and then I would take a Ziploc bag and fill it with my favorite tea bags,
and then I would just stuff it into the empty cup, put it in my purse or my carry on bag, and when I’m at the airport, or when
I’m in the airplane, I would just ask for hot water, and if you go to your Starbucks and if you carry that reusable cup, you ask for hot water, they will
give it to you for free, so you don’t have to spend like an extra three to five dollars
on a latte and drink up those extra calories or any of that. So the one thing I hate when packing is taking out my necklaces
and my jewelry pieces, and they’re all tangled up in a ball. Press and seal, this one is genius. So all you have to do is take out a sheet of press and seal, place it on your table, make sure the
sticky side is facing upward. Place down your necklaces,
take out a second sheet, place it on top of that,
press and seal it together, and you should have something like this. And then just put it in your luggage, pack it up, it doesn’t take much space. All your dainty jewelry
pieces should stay in place. Another great way to organize
your jewelry pieces is by using a medicine container. I bought this from my local dollar store, and I put my rings in
here, and my stud earrings. It’s a great way to organize
your jewelry pieces. I have some great hacks
to share with you guys when it comes to reusable shopping bags! So, what I do is I just fold these up, and they’re so compact,
and they’re easy to fold. I put them into my handbags, like one of my nice handbags that I
don’t want to destroy, and then, when I’m on the
plane or something like that, and I want to prevent
my handbags from getting scratched up, I take this
out, I put my bag in here. Usually, I store my
handbag on the bottom of the airplane seat, and
sometimes I kick there, or people kick, and stuff like that. So this is a great way
to protect my handbag. What I like to do is also carry
an extension cord with me, because I would usually sit
on my bed and use the laptop, and the outlet is all
the way across the room, so I pack like a little
mini extension cord with me, and the way I like to
organize that is to just take out a toilet paper roll, wrap my extension cord and tuck it
into the toilet paper roll. It’s a great way to
organize those long cables, and an easy hack. Okay, so this next one is something that I’ve heard of for a long
time now but I’d never done, until my foundation bottle spilt on me midway during my trip. So I highly recommend for
you guys to try this out, and that is to take some plastic wrap, just cut out a little piece,
and what you’re going to do is take off the cap of the bottle, place that plastic wrap on top, and
then screw on the cap, and this should prevent
any liquids from spilling, and it should keep your
cap tight and sealed. This next tip is a two-for-one. I like to carry one perfume bottle with me whenever I’m traveling, and
to prevent it from breaking, I stuff it into my sock,
and to organize my sock, what I like to do is put my perfume bottle into one sock, and then I would loop the next sock over that sock, and then I would keep on doing that with all the pairs of sock I have. So this way I will save lots of space with all my socks, because
they’re packed nicely, and my perfume bottle is safe. For my ladies, I’m pretty
sure you guys don’t like to see your compact open, and ruined, and broken,
and all that kind of stuff, because you spent so
much money on it, right? So, this next tip is very very helpful. All you have to do is invest
a little bit money into some cotton pads, take those cotton pads, put them in between your compact, so you can put them on
top of your eye shadow, or whatever it is, your
blush, and then close the lid, and it should protect your eye shadows or your makeup from breaking. I’m pretty sure a lot of
you guys have earbuds, and I don’t know how you
guys organize your earbuds, but mine usually get tangled up in my purse, or my pocket. All you will need is a business card. So, take out the long
part of your earbuds, the wire part, and wrap it
around the business card. After that, you can
store it in your pocket, or wherever you store your earbuds, and it should prevent
it from tangling up or getting all over the place. All right, guys, that is it for today, thank you so much for watching.
