This Planet Coaster Loch Ness Monster Recreation is jaw dropping…

today we’re going to be looking at the
Loch Ness monster which is a roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
and I’ve been on this roller coaster before so I can kind of tell how
realistic this roller coaster is or isn’t but the thing is as I was looking
at the workshop to kind of find some roller coasters to review in the future
I stumbled across this masterpiece of a creation and you guys can probably
already tell what caught my eye with this roller coaster but one other thing
that caught my eye immediately when I saw this roller coaster was who it was
made by this actually was made by somebody who watches me and has actually
been part of my community since almost day one with planet coaster and I feel
like it’s about time I give this guy a bit of a shout-out because he’s obsessed
with the roller coasters everybody who knows him calls him Aero I believe right
now his name is Aero enlightenment leader on YouTube
I’ll leave his channel in the description but the thing is he’s really
into everything Aero related and he makes some really really realistic Aero
recreations in this game alongside some original Arrow inspired roller coasters
but today I just have to show you guys something he did such a good job working
on this roller coaster and it doesn’t just look good it also rides really well
and it’s super realistic because there’s one thing and I don’t know if it’s gonna
will let the roller coaster go but he put a lot of effort into this recreation
and I can tell that he put a lot of effort into it because of the timing of
everything and he just did a stand-up job with making this creation work properly so I’m definitely super
excited to ride this and yes there are night lights in this roller coaster but
as I took a peek at this roller coaster to kind of just gauge how well he remade
it in there anything I noticed that he did an amazing job with the track work
of the roller coaster and I kind of want to show you guys how well he resembled
the Aero track so I’m really excited to show you guys this and everything
because this is something I’d like to see from people in planet coaster I
don’t want to just see good fast layouts and you know smooth roller coasters I
want to see things also be realistic if you are recreating something and that
also means making the bad portions of roller coasters because if you know me
personally you know immediately that I’m actually not a fan of Aero coasters in
real life I like smooth graceful elegant experiences when riding roller coasters
and arrows definitely do not provide that experience for me but the thing is
I do have a bit of a soft spot for these roller coasters I do respect them and
understand their historical value in theme parks all over the world so let’s
go ahead and get on to this I guess piece of history right here because I
believe this is actually one of the first if not the first roller coasters
in the world to have interlocking loops and this is definitely something that
looks very beautiful in is pleasing to the eye but anyway
that’s enough jabbering or blabbing from me let’s go ahead and get on this roller
coaster alright so that was Loch Ness monsters
so this roller coaster is you know obviously pretty dated but the thing is
the way arrow made this roller coaster it was and I mean the person aeronaut
the the company but the way he made it was with a lot of love
I guess because arrows have a very unique shaping when it comes to their
track style an arrow went through a lot of effort to kind of I guess remake all
of the little small bends and features you see on an arrow coaster and it’s not
just you know smooth all and spent he just spams a smooth button to get it you
know kind of not so raggedy and everything like it is in planet coaster
but he he spent a lot of time getting all of the angles down perfectly and
let’s see right here he really just nailed all of these little small bends
in the track that you’ll see on turns and everything and one thing that kind
of just kind of dislike about arrows in real life is the shaping but that’s kind
of what gives the ride character to be honest but let’s find a good example of
what I kind of want to point out here so me being a B&M fanboy I usually like to
see lots of heart lining and very graceful turns where there’s a perfect
amount of banking a perfect amount of movement on the lateral axis and a
perfect amount of movement on the vertical axis as well to kind of make a
very nice elegant experience but the thing is when it comes to forces and how
the track moves on arrow coasters they just completely ignore that so usually
whenever you see a ride going into an element like this where the ride is
ascending and then it’s turning or it’s turning and then it ascends or whatever
usually you would see all of the banking and all of the turning on the lateral
axis happen about at the same time then you would see the ride kind of I guess
move around this general area or this general like circle and that’s the heart
line that’s the center of I guess where the people will be sitting or where the
train is so usually you would see as like a very unique kind of shaping on
rollercoasters but you don’t see that on arrows and you kind of
but it’s a very small in not too exaggerated shape so in all honesty it
kind of makes the ride experience a little bit rough but it’s the perfect
amount of roughness and she nailed down the shaping here but right here usually
in arrows or on some arrows on some portions of them you’ll notice that the
ride starts to Bank before it gets into the turn and it won’t bang too much so
you’re kind of feeling forces on the lateral axis as you’re turning right
here if there’s enough speed so you’re being shoved to the right portion of the
car when you’re going through this element for at least like half of it
before you I guess start losing speed but the shaping is just so unorthodox
and I would never do this on any of my rollercoasters and I feel like that is
what gives these rides character but it does have that banking that I was
referring to a little bit right here this is kind of what I meant like you
would see a lot of banking like this and pretty much any other rollercoaster
whether it be BM intamin Mach anyone you would see them go into and out of turns
kind of like this and not the other way on you know the beginning portion of
this element but this is a hard shaping to pull off in planet coaster you know
people say that roller coasters are unsmooth and everything on planet
coaster which is true but you know also arrows and real life aren’t super smooth
and you know it isn’t easy to make arrows on planet coaster just because
it’s easy to make unsmooth roller coasters in planet coaster but Aero
coasters have a specific shaping in Aero the person who made this roller coaster
in game went out of his way to kind of replicate that shaping in the roller
coaster and it made this creation that much better and I believe the brakes and
everything are placed in the proper place and it’s flat in this portion of
the hill just like it is in real life there’s no I guess like smooth movement
going into the loop it’s all rigid it’s all straightened all the places and
needs to be and it’s curved in all the places it needs to be and it’s very very
nice and seamless and let’s check and see if this is a prefab loop yeah it
looks like this is a prefab but you know I’m noticing a lot of people are using
prefab loops I’m not someone who uses prefabricated elements because I like to
make mine by hand mainly because I don’t want to see the transition between
custom-made pieces and prefabricated pieces but it looks like there’s a way
to kind of make them very seamless which I will experiment
with in the future but other than that this rollercoaster is very well done and
you know there’s more or less of the same kind of banking and track work
throughout the entire creation and there isn’t too much scenery in this ride he
didn’t incorporate a lot of senior I know he doesn’t have the best computer
on earth so it’s kind of hard for people to you know dump tons of resources into
a ride if they can’t you know play the game at home so I know he’s kind of
sparing with the scenery and everything but he added the right amount you know
he has all the scenery that you need for this creation and in real life the
scenery for this ride isn’t too crazy it’s literally just vegetation there’s
just tons of trees and bushes just you know right next to you throughout the
entirety of the layout and this portion of the ride the tunnel portion the rock
Mountain when everyone referred to it as it doesn’t have a ton of detail in real
life either it has the outside structure and then it has all the supports and
everything they were super exposed on the inside I believe there’s a little
bit of lighting on the inside as well but this this rollercoaster he did all
the supports and everything by hand so that’s hard to do it’s very hard to do
especially with these very small pieces right here that’s a very tedious and
difficult task to accomplish in planet coaster but he pulled it off and it
looks amazing in my personal opinion so I kind of wanted to just point that out
to kind of just give you guys a little bit of a I guess peek at things I really
want to see people do implant a coaster you know I don’t want to just see crazy
cool being them layouts and crazy fast and you know super super crazy elements
and everything I want to see stuff like this as well things that are you know
properly replicated things that are realistic and things you would see in
real life done with you know lots of love and I guess care for realism and
accuracy and this is a perfect demonstration of what it is I want to
see in this game I guess from people so anyway that’s arrows arrow coaster so if
you guys want to see more things like this please do let me know what you guys
want to see in the comments and if you guys have any roller coasters that you
want to see me review look at shout out whatever let me know in the comments
leave a link in the description or not in description gosh leave a link in the
comments that makes my life a million times easier it’s kind of hard to
navigate through the Steam Workshop and search for you guys’s creations and
anything so go ahead and leave a link to you guys and stuff and I will take a
look at it if it tickles my fancy or whatever so anyway I hope you guys have
an amazing day don’t forget to stay positive and I will see
guys in the next video peace out
