♪♪♪ I’m Lani D’Angelo, and
you’re watching STCnow. Christmas Traditions
may be over, but there’s still lots
to do in St. Charles during the winter season! Check out the Foundry Art
Centre’s current exhibition Joke’s on You through
Friday, January 26th. This exhibition explores
humor through art, as it’s all too
easy to take oneself too seriously at times. Joke’s On You encourages levity
through visual expression, and it allows a glimpse at
how artists highlight humor and lightness in a society
filled with gravitas. For more information,
including gallery hours, visit foundryartcentre.org And now, for some quick hits! Are you or is someone
you know looking for a job where you can have
fun and make an impact? Parks & Recreation is
holding a job fair on Wednesday, January 3rd
from 10 AM until 2 PM at Memorial Hall
in Blanchette Park. There’s opportunities available for lifeguards, day
camp counselors, cultural art
program instructors, sports referees, and much more! There will also be popcorn and
refreshments at the job fair, as well as an
attendance prize drawing. For more information,

taking a 260 pound block of ice and turning it into a
wondrous sparkling creation with chainsaws, chisels,
grinders, knives, hot irons and cold spray. With lots of outdoor fire-pits and great restaurants
along Main Street, this makes Fete de Glace
the perfect family activity. For more information,
