I’m Lani D’Angelo, and welcome to STCnow. Are you or is someone you know looking for
a job where you can have fun and make an impact? Parks & Recreation is holding
a job fair on Friday, January 3rd and Thursday, January 9th at
Memorial Hall in Blanchette Park. There’s opportunities available for lifeguards,
day camp counselors, cultural arts program instructors, sports referees, and much more! For additional information, visit stcharlesparks.com Do you have an Amazon Alexa device? Now you can listen to the
latest Saint Charles news on it! In your Alexa app, go to the
“Skills & Games” section, and download the “Saint Charles, Missouri City News” skill. Then, whenever you ask Alexa “What’s in the
News?” you’ll hear the latest episode of STCnow, updated weekly on Thursday mornings. Contact the Media Department for more information. We’ve already had some snow
and ice here in Saint Charles, and Public Works is always prepared for more. While we aim to keep all 545 lane miles in
the City passable, snow-plows start with streets and thoroughfares that
have a high volume of traffic. You can assist during this weather by keeping
parked cars off roadways, not approaching snow plows or interfering with snow removal, and piling snow to the right side of your driveway. For more information, visit the City online. Did Ya Know? Saint Charles has 2 Sister Cities-
Ludwigsburg, Germany and Carndonagh, Ireland. This program fosters friendship
and goodwill through cultural, social, business, and educational exchanges. Visit the City online for more information. Happy New Year! City Hall will be closed on January 1st
in observance of the holiday. I’m Lani D’Angelo, and this has been STCnow.
