Hi, everyone! I’m Mikela and and I’m Kate. Today
we’re going to talk about recreational activity WAIT! Our challenge for you last week was
to develop the characteristics of inner- beauty within yourself, or to help
somebody else see the characteristics of inner-beauty in themselves. I worked on positivity this week! I tried to eliminate all the negative thoughts and comments that just
popped in my head. It almost seems like second nature for us to be negative. But when I tried to be more positive and
just look on the bright side it was a really fun and made me happier.
[Kate]: I tried to be a better friend to all my friends and even the people who aren’t as much of my friends as some my friends.
So even though this wasn’t one of our direct characteristics I feel like it’s a really important
thing to becoming meaningfully beautiful is if your good friend to everybody and
just make sure everybody knows you care about them. Mikela: That
realates to “compassion”, too. Enough about that. If you miss that video

[Kate]: What is recreation? I think recreation is to literally recreate yourself you give yourself new energy!
it’s kinda weird because most recreational activities use up energy, but after them—especially if they’re an
activity that you enjoy— you kinda have more energy your more energetic, ready to go and just happy. It’s great! Really, really
exciting! [Kate]: Over this past weekend we went down to our cousin’s house and we went boating on the river. So much fun! and it was probably lotsa fun because
we were with their cousins and we got to hang out for three hours on the boat. [Mikela]: We went water skiing and tubing it was our first time water skiing ever! So cool! It took me 10 times like get up. [Kate]: I tried twice.
[Mikela]: Then we tubed for a long time and we’re all really sore the next day, but it was totally worth it! Tons of fun! Recreation is so much fun and we totally encourage you to do it.
its more fulfilling than just watching TV for three hours a day—no matter what’s on TV! I got more done after that, because I
had more energy and I felt like I was already having a great day. It was awesome! So get out there and do some recreational activities you can
do sports you can go hiking, play volleyball. You could even go boating, like us—or fishing.
[Kate]: —go camping, or… [Mikela]: You could do whatever you want.
[Kate]: You could go to the YMCA, or get some… swimming and before… …Fall.
[Mikela]: Recreation is the funnest when you have a friend. So bring a friend along!
