October hunt for roedeer – Traditional Bowhunting – Recurve bow – Tales From the Willows – Tradlife

This is october the 11´th and I´m standing by this corn field the farmer has harvested the corn but! It look´s like he have been stuck with he´s tractor in the mud, because he haven´t harvested it all And it have been pretty wet this start of the season, so It´s pretty muddy out on the field I can see four deer already on that field over there 150 meters away This is actually the same spot where I shot the big buck this summer I haven´t been hunting here since so It´s about time to try again I think it´s gonna be a good morning I´ve been watching these deer for over an hour now they have been eating all the falling corns on the field I have decided not to shoot the buck fawn I´m gonna pick up Morten now I have placed Morten in the in the bedding area If the deer was going in from the field into the bedding area so I have placed Morten in the bedding area now I´m gonna pick him up and we are gonna blood trail this deer together there is blood in there! She is over there! can you see her? yeah now I can see her Here we have her the shot was a little to far back, but she was quartering away, so because of the angle the the arrow was coming out about 10 centimeters behind the front leg so it wasen´t so bad she didn´t go far! it´s about 60 meters from where I shot her it´s awesome and thats a doe fawn and it´s normal for us to harvest the fawns instead of the doe´s because the doe´s are gonna get new fawns next year so it´s totally normal
