Must List For Thursday, April 24: ‘Parks And Recreation’ Season Finale | Entertainment Weekly

Parks and Rec finale and a british favorite
heads stateside. This is EW’s Must List for Thursday, April 24. Today marks the beginning of TV sweeps season
and to kick things off, “Parks and Recreation” is saying goodbye. In keeping with Leslie’s
crazy year on the show, the finale will feature fun guest stars like Michelle Obama and Blake
Anderson for a hour-long finale. Expect lots of baby talk from Leslie and Ben, which will
set up the show’s seventh and probably final, season. Slow tear… Keep the channel tuned to NBC, because at
9, the network will showcase the best of SNL digital shorts. It’s a two-hour all-star tribute,
which means we’ll probably see lots and lots of Justin Timberlake — just saying. Over on ABC, check out the premiere of “Black
Box.” The medical show stars Kelly Reilly as a bipolar neuroscientist who seems to function
— until she doesn’t. This is no Dr. Mindy Lahiri — so you’ve been warned, watch at
your own risk and be prepared to dish about it Friday morning with your co-workers. The second season of British series “Moone
Boy” airs on Hulu today. The critically acclaimed comedy stars Chris O’Dowd as the imaginary
friend of a young boy. The show is loosely based on Chris’s own experience growing up
in ’90s Ireland. Think “The Wonder Years” meets “Malcolm in the Middle,” but with really
amazing accents and a heavy dose of Irish humor. That’s all for today, but makes sure to come
back tomorrow for Must List details on the premiere of John Oliver’s news parody show.
