Jetboil – Mighty Mo

In this video, We’re going to be taking
a look at the Jetboil Mighty Mo. Since 2001, Jetboil have led the way in developing
innovative all in one compact cooking systems – and the Mighty Mo is Jetboil’s lightest
and most compact stove to date. Setting up your Mighty Mo is a simple and
quick process. The first step is to unfold the included gas can stabiliser, and attach
it to your JetPower gas canister. We recommend using JetPower gas. Next, unfold the three fins and screw the
Mighty Mo onto your JetPower gas canister. To ignite your stove, simply twist the wire
valve handle to turn on the gas and click the piezo igniter. So, what is it that sets the Mighty Mo apart
from the rest of the stoves out there? For a start, this little stove packs quite
a punch! The Mighty Mo burner outputs a huge 10,000 BTUs that’s the same as many large car camping burners! It will boil a litre of water in just over
3 minutes – a little quicker when using a 1 litre fluxring cook pot, and one of our
100g JetPower gas canisters will allow you to boil 12 litres of water. A very impressive feat for something so small! The MightyMo benefits from Jetboil’s innovative
regulator valve which goes from closed to fully open with four turns of the valve spindle,
unlike most stoves on the market which take one. This allows for a considerably greater level of heat output control meaning you can boil water for drinks or cook perfect eggs – all with the same stove. As with the rest of Jetboil’s Mo family, it’s
at the top of its class in fuel efficiency with the integrated pressure regulator
allowing consistent performance down to -6°C. You also get a push button igniter, and a
fuel stabiliser so you don’t need to worry about
what you’re cooking tipping over. So with the MightyMo, you get a super powerful stove in an incredibly lightweight and compact package that’s perfect for solo use, or cooking for a small group while keeping pack size and weight to a minimum.
