investigating a local travel company that allegedly took money for plane tickets but never delivered the tickets. The Better Business Bureau says it has received several complaints about Archipelago travel, some saying they lost tens of thousands of dollars to the company. KITV 4 found two addresses for the company, one a unit in a condo tower in Makiki and the other a building on North King Street currently owned by a flower company. That business says they’ve owned the building for over a year and have never heard of the travel company. ISABEL LAMBERT OWENER BELLA ROSA “I DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT COMPANY IS IT’S TERRIBLE THEY HAVE MY ADDRESS BECAUSE ALL WE DO HERE IS FLOWERS” TIMOTHY CAMINOS BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU: “THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN ON OUR RADAR FOR A LITTLE WHILE NOW AND WE HAVE RECEIVED REPORTS FROM CONSUMERS THAT THE COMPANY IS TAKING THEIR MONEY AND NOT DELIVERING ON THE SERVICES THAT ARE PROMISED” The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs urges anyone who believes they have been victimized by Archipelago Travel to report it to the agency so they can begin an investigation. So far no formal complaints have been issued.
