  • I'm actually studying to become a doctor mainly because, though you don't have the flexibility of a digital nomad of course, your are needed everywhere on this world and with the right skills/work experience you can get a job in nearly every country.

  • Me: "Alright! I'm going to become a digital nomad!"
Jacob: "Ok so maybe you could become a translator…?"
    Me: "Shit…."
Jacob: "Or maybe you could tutor….."
    Me: "Shit….."
Jacob: "Or how about you use those great skills you…."
    Me: "Shit……"
Jacob: "Or there's always building websites, video editing, writing books, editing photos, managing companies, managing social media….."
Me: "……if he doesn't say eating Doritos soon, I'm fucked…….."

  • I’m a korean high school girl who want to spend 20s more meaningful. But all the time money was a big obstacle. And you helped me to solve this huge problem! Thanks a lot!! You always makes me speculate on life 🙂

Hi Jacob.. my name is Dhruvee from Malaysia and I will be graduating high school in 2 months ..I have 7 months in total before I get into college and education is very important to me and also my family. My family are not against the idea of me travelling long term but their only conditions are that I should have a degree in anything I want and make my own money or fund myself for travelling. The only setback is that I’m ABSOLUTELY clueless in how to fund myself and study at the same time.. the only good thing about what I want to do is that it is regarding to media which comes hand in hand with travelling as it could be done anywhere basically . Besides that I could tutor people and write articles about my expertise. I also have this gift of advising people on how to live their life and what life means and everything which they seem to be inspired by ( by they I mean my friends and family )and I’m thinking of starting a YouTube channel on that..I’m still very very young but I don’t want to miss out the chance of travelling the world because I really want to know the different cultures and religions that are alive at this moment. A lot of my family members think it is a phase and sadly I am still not able to convince them about the idea of me as a digital nomad..I hope one day they would understand . I feel so proud but sad at the same time when I see young travellers living their way out to enjoy being in different parts of the world.. you’re amazing and thank you so much for such a detailed video ☺️

Jacob thanks for your motivational video. You have mentioned accountancy as digital nomad way of life too. I have been working in accounting past 5 years but haven’t seen any way of not meeting the client. How is it possible?

  • Aha! So you own the bogus coupon company called “Chameleon John”.
I own one of the businesses that you’re offering coupons from your website, which I really don’t have knowledge about.
Ive been looking for you to get my money back from those coupons used!
I was so drawn from the first video I watched from you, so Impressed, so I decided to watch this next one!
And now im really pissed and angry that I found out you own Chameleon Johns!
You have no idea how many angry customers walked in my store using a coupon from your website, only to find out its not a real coupon!

  • I don't think I've ever watched a video like this and it has inspired me to want to live your life so much this is just amazing

  • Subscribed after watching a few videos. But after this one, you just made me believe that you are being realy honest which is very rare thing to see on youtube from such a big youtuber especially when talking about real ways on how to accomplish goals in life, almost completely exposing your ways to make money.. Which makes me proud to be Lithuanian. Nuostabus žmogus esi, nepažįstu tavęs visai, bet tu man jau autoritetas vien dėl tavo tokios moralės ir požiūrio į kitus žmones 😊 P.S. You are speaking soo fluenlty and with such a slight accent 👌👌

I like Fiverr. It's the Udemy of freelance. Once your gig is setup and you have a compelling offer it make money month over month reliably. I make $200- 300 extra a month. Not life changing or anything, but it's fun, easy, my clients get value out of it and I get some play money 🙂

  • Great video. Im a online freelance designer on and i been thinking of traveling. I've learnt quite a lot, thanks to you guys and still have more to cover.. you know.. the juicy stuff like insurance, cost of living etc. 🙂 Keep up the good work G.

Jokubai, esi pats nuostabiausias zmogus! Visada bijodavau pradėti kilti financial independence laiptais nes bijodavau, kad Lietuva nera svarbi pasaulines rinkos atzvilgiu! You proved me wrong and now ill try my best

  • Hi, Jacob I am 15 yrs old and also live in a small country of Ireland. I always wanted to travel the world and become financially independent. However I never thought I could do it till I'm older listening to your videos I got inspired and did some research. I would love to start an online business but I don't really know how to come about it , do your have any tips or maybe could you make a video about how to set up your own online business with little money available. It would help me out a lot . Love your videos continue inspiring😉

  • My story is Kinda similar to u. I will be 18 in July but I'm totally dependent on my parents and I kinda hate that .very nice video bro thnx 😊

  • I tried making a store through shopify, it failed 🙁 but im going to try the others. Im going to rewatch this video several times. Thanks Jacob!!!

  • A lot of So called online scam businesses to long in pockets of hard working people and doing nothing for it. Mostly vaporware.

  • Traveling 365 is not for everyone. You see mostly the fun and interesting things in his video, but 80% of the time is like any another day.
Don't get me wrong, it still intereating look at new things every day, but most people are attach to their pets, friends and family.
Probably since Jacob started young, he doesn't have that attachment to his friends, town or family and doesn't get home sick at all.
The most i can get away from home is one month. After that i get pet, home, work and town sick. I need to get back to my "normal" life.
It doesn't hurt to try the nomad life to see if it is for you, but the older you start, the harder it will be.
    Nice trips.

I am from India.I see a lot of your videos. You have a pretty good content. I like it. I subscribed your channel.

  • still dont know how to get into it. Looks for me like you need to know one who is working like this who can help you to get into it.

  • I want a digital nomad to tell us something they never say: exactly HOW MUCH money do you need per month to live this way. I work remotely for myself and I could technically do it, but I still don't think I could afford it at this point and time.

  • health suraksha says:

Jacob I am your biggest fan. Your dharavi slums video was my favorite. You always inspired us to help poor and needy people. I wish you become world's number one YouTuber. Love from India (Amchi Mumbai).

  • edward alvarez says:

Thank you so much for this informative and well-listed video. Hoping I will have the same energy just like yours.

  • Great Video!! I wish I have see this video 10 years ago 🙂
Finally I decide to trade in the stock market with an online broker. I'm in the process of learning and hopefully teach others in the futures. Life should be a pleasure for everyone no. Sadly most of us have been taught that life is about hard work for the benefit of others.

  • Thank you so much! I am going to read the ebook and start doing something to become a nomad. I am sending a lot of love! ♡

  • Débora Teixeira says:

Thank you so much! I'm 20 and in university and really really confused of what I want to do in life since I got so impacted with this digital nomand life!

  • This is so inspiring! I really want to travel indefinitely. And wow, you've visited my country, Indonesia. it's so far away from your country. Tbh I found your channel when I was looking for Lithuania travel videos since I'm planning to go there this summer. Hopefully someday (in not too far) future, I can travel a lot more than now, just like you. All the best for you man!

  • Hi Jacob… I have been watching your videos continuously for the last two days… You have completely changed my perception towards the life and success… Thanks a lot bro for inspiration… Keep going… Love from India…
