Conduit & Wires Should Be Installed For An Outside Fireplace Patio Island?

Hi, this is Joshua Peterson with Peterson
Electric here in Boulder, Colorado. Just did some electrical for a fire pit patio. Wanted
to show you a couple of examples while you are thinking about doing your fire pit. This
is done with pavers and some cement sand. We draw power out of here, which use to be
an old hot tub connection. We put an outlet here with a dedicated 20 amp circuit. There
is a panel on the other side in the basement. We wired it through a conduit and it goes
underneath. This is what you would call an island fire pit, so it is real important to
bring conduit out. We brought power out to an outlet underneath here. They have a dedicated
20 amp circuit for later. They could put a post and run some festoon light. They could
do a pond on the back side with a little small pump or if they just end up having an electric
smoker. They could plug in and smoke it right here. Good thing to think ahead before the
pavers go in here to have conduit and wires put in. Thanks! Have a great week!
