30 Days to Duke (2019): How do YOU Rec @ Wilson Recreation Center?

[ELECTRONIC MUSIC PLAYING] Hey, y’all. Welcome back to another
episode of 30 Days to Duke. My name is Jess. And I’m Symphony. And today, we’re here at Wilson
Gym asking people how they rec. Let’s go. [WEIGHTS CLANGING] Hey, what’s up, guys? I’m here with Jane, talking
about how do you rec. I usually come here in
the mornings around 9:30, and I like to run on the
treadmill and lift weights. That’s awesome. Have you ever been
on the rock wall? I have not. But that’s something
I would love to try. Awesome. My name is Caroline. I’m a junior, and I love to
go climbing on the rock wall. Early in the mornings, when
there aren’t many people here, I like to come in here
and lift some weights, get some cardio done,
just to stay fit. I love to come to
Bolton because I like to stay healthy,
and stay fit, and also to relieve stress. All right. So tell us your name. I’m Alex. And how do you rec? Well, I come in here
before class every day. It gives me a
moment to get myself ready mentally and physically. Well, thank you so much. Another way to rec is by coming
in and doing some cardio. You’ve got to find that balance. Yeah. You can’t just
get swole all day. One of the great
things about Wilson is all the wonderful
classes they offer. Some of the wonderful
classes that Wilson offers include zumba, HIIT, yoga,
pilates, and so many more classes. All right. We’re going to start doing
some yoga, so start with a tree pose. [LAUGHTER] Hey, what up, guys? I’m here with Josh. So Josh, why do you rec? I rec because I love
going to the free classes they offer at Wilson. What’s your favorite
class to go to? My favorite class is spin class. But they also offer classes
like HIIT, TRX, and yoga. Awesome. So what makes working
out important? I like going to the
classes because it keeps me accountable
for working out, and it just keeps me in shape. Awesome. Thank you. This concludes another
edition of 30 Days to Duke.
